AI tools needed trusted operational context, but direct database access created unnecessary risk and made governance difficult.
What I led
I designed the access model, validation layer, tool boundaries, and authentication approach so usefulness and control were part of the same architecture.
The result
A reusable enterprise interface that let AI answer real business questions while preserving clear data-access boundaries.
Why it matters
Useful AI and responsible AI are not competing goals. The right architecture can make a system more capable precisely because its boundaries are clear.
